Your filter combination may be too narrow. Set Length or Popularity to "Any", or clear the Starts With letter, then generate again.
"Quota" or "limit" error
If AllInOneTools' own free fair-use limit (10/observed IP/hour, 300/24h) is reached, please wait — this limit cannot be bypassed with a personal key. If instead the AI provider itself is temporarily unavailable, a popup will let you continue with your own Gemini or OpenRouter key.
Favorites disappeared
Favorites live in this browser's localStorage. Private windows, cleared site data, or a different device will show an empty list.
Generation feels slow
AI responses can take a few seconds, especially on Load 5 More. The spinner stays visible until the provider answers; very slow networks may time out at 35s.

Are the popularity rankings based on real data?
No. The "Popularity estimate" is an AI-generated guess based on general patterns, not a ranking from an official national name database or specific country/year dataset. Always verify actual popularity through official government statistics if that is important to you.
Can I find names from a specific country not in the list?
Yes. The Origin/Region dropdown covers common starting points, and the Meaning/Theme box accepts free text. Typing something like 'a traditional Scottish name' gives the AI extra context to tailor its suggestions.
What happens if I don't change the default filters?
The default settings use Unisex, Modern, and Any origin. Change the filters when you want the suggestions to follow a specific gender, style, culture, or naming preference.
Why did the tool not find any names for my specific criteria?
Very narrow combinations can return few or no matches. Broaden one filter at a time, such as setting Length or Popularity to Any, and generate again.
Do I need an account or my own API key to use it?
No account is needed. The server uses AllInOneTools API keys within fair-use limits. If those limits are exhausted, the tool can optionally continue with your own Gemini or OpenRouter API key, which is sent directly from your browser to the provider you select. Provider pricing, quotas, and free availability may change.
