How this social media post generator works

    One brief, several platforms

Pick up to 4 platforms. Each post is written for that platform's style: a hook and "link in bio" on Instagram, short and punchy on X, professional on LinkedIn.

    Counted the platform's way

Every post is counted against its platform's limit in your browser. X posts follow X's own rules, where links count as 23 and emojis as 2.

    Checked before you post

Each post flags what could go wrong: too long, too many hashtags, a link that won't be clickable, or a first line that gets hidden behind "more".

Check it yourself. Open your browser's developer tools (F12) and choose the Network tab. With the shared AI you'll see one request to our site; with your own key, requests go only to Google or OpenRouter.

How each post is written and checked

The AI gets your details, goal, tone and language, plus a short style guide and the hard character limit for every platform you picked. It's told to write plain text (social apps don't show **bold** markdown), to use only your facts, and to finish with a call to action.

Your browser then counts each post. Most platforms count each emoji or letter once; X counts links as 23 characters, and emojis and Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters as 2. The checks also look at hashtags, links and how much shows before "more".

Good habits for social media posts

    Before posting

    • Read the first line alone: would you stop scrolling?
    • Check every date, price and link twice.
    • Add an image or short video where the platform rewards it.
    • Reply-ready: decide who answers comments and DMs.

    After posting

    • Answer early comments within the first hour.
    • Note which platform got the most replies.
    • Reuse winning hooks with new details next time.
    • Keep a simple calendar so posts go out regularly.

    Frequently asked questions

Short answers about limits, links, languages and your API key.

Is the social media post generator free?

Yes. The shared AI gives every visitor 15 free generations an hour, each with posts for up to 4 platforms. If it's busy or you need more, add your own Gemini or OpenRouter key and generate within that key's quota.

Does it keep posts within each platform's limit?

The AI is asked to stay within each limit, and every post is then counted in your browser: 280 for X, 500 for Threads and Pinterest, 2,200 for Instagram and 3,000 for LinkedIn. The counter turns red if a post is too long, so you can trim it before posting.

Why are X posts counted differently?

X counts every link as 23 characters, and counts each emoji and each Chinese, Japanese or Korean character as 2. Hindi, Gujarati and other Indian scripts count as 1. The counter follows the same rules, so a post that fits here fits on X.

Why does it say links won't be clickable on Instagram?

Instagram and TikTok don't turn links in captions into clickable links. Put the link in your bio or a story link and say "link in bio" in the caption instead.

What happens if the shared AI doesn't work?

The tool tries Google Gemini first and OpenRouter second. If both fail, or the hourly limit is reached, it explains why and opens the key panel so you can continue with your own free key.

Is my own API key safe?

Your key is kept in this browser session only and is sent directly from your browser to Google or OpenRouter, never to our server. Press Remove my keys when you're done, and avoid entering keys on shared devices.

Can it write posts in Hindi or Gujarati?

Yes. Choose from 18 languages, including Hindi, Hinglish, Gujarati, Marathi and Tamil, before generating.

    Is what I type saved?

With the shared AI, your details go to our server and then to Google Gemini or OpenRouter, and identical requests are reused for 1 hour. Your last 15 generations are saved only in this browser, and Clear all removes them.
