    Honest by design

What this rewriter does, and what it doesn't

So you know what to expect before you rely on it.

    What it does

    • Rewrites one sentence at a time, so you choose the best version for each instead of accepting a whole new paragraph.
    • Shows exactly what changed: new words are highlighted in every option.
    • Keeps your words: names, brands and terms you list stay exactly as written.
    • Lets you keep your own sentence wherever it was already better.
    • Works in your language: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Gujarati and many more; it replies in the language you wrote in.

    What it doesn't do

    • Guarantee the same meaning. It's told to keep every fact, number and "not", but AI can still slip. Read your final text once.
    • Make copied text yours. Rewording someone else's writing still needs a citation. Check with the Plagiarism Checker.
    • Hide AI writing. It doesn't try to fool AI detectors, and no tool can promise that.
    • Rewrite long articles. It takes up to 12 sentences at a time. For whole paragraphs in one style, use the Paraphrasing Tool.
    • Fix every grammar mistake. For a full check, use the Grammar Checker.
    Choosing a goal

    What each rewrite goal does

The same sentence, changed by each goal.

    Clearer

Puts the main point first and removes confusing word order. The best choice when you're not sure.

BeforeDue to the reason that the server was down, the orders could not be processed by us.
AfterWe couldn't process the orders because the server was down.

    Shorter

Cuts filler words and repeated ideas, but keeps every fact.

BeforeAt this point in time, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your order.
    AfterThank you for your order.

    Simpler words

Swaps hard words for everyday ones. Good for customers, students and readers whose first language is different.

BeforeKindly ascertain the veracity of the aforementioned details.
AfterPlease check that these details are correct.

    More formal

For applications, office emails and reports: no slang, full words, polite tone.

BeforeCan't come tomorrow, got a family thing.
AfterI will not be able to attend tomorrow due to a family commitment.

    Friendlier

Warmer and more like speech. Good for social posts, newsletters and replies to customers.

BeforeYour complaint has been received and will be addressed.
AfterThanks for letting us know. We're on it.

    Active voice and Fuller

Active voice says who does what. Fuller adds linking words and smoother flow, without adding new facts.

    Before and after

A shop owner's message to customers, rewritten with the Clearer goal. One sentence was kept as it was.

    Before

This is to inform all our valued customers that the shop will be remaining closed on account of Diwali from 31st to 2nd. Orders placed during this period will be delivered after we reopen. Kindly do the needful and place urgent orders before 30th.

    • Long, stiff opening
    • "Do the needful" is unclear to many readers
    • The key date is buried

    After

Our shop will be closed for Diwali from the 31st to the 2nd. Orders placed during this period will be delivered after we reopen. Please place any urgent orders by the 30th.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

How is a sentence rewriter different from a paraphrasing tool?

A paraphrasing tool rewrites a whole paragraph at once and gives you one new block of text. This sentence rewriter works one sentence at a time: every sentence gets 3 versions, and you choose the best one for each, or keep your own. It's better when only some sentences need work.

Will the rewrite keep my meaning?

The AI is told to keep every fact, name, number, date and negation, and not to add anything. It does that well most of the time, but it can still change a detail or the strength of a claim. The changed words are highlighted so you can spot this, and you should read the final text before using it.

Can I use it to avoid plagiarism?

Not on its own. Rewording someone else's writing without naming them is still plagiarism. Use it to polish your own writing; when you use someone else's idea, cite the source. The Plagiarism Checker can help you find copied wording.

    Which languages does it support?

It replies in the language and script you write in, including English, Hindi, Hinglish, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Spanish and many more. Results are usually best in English and other widely used languages.

Why only 12 sentences at a time?

So each sentence gets careful rewrites and the page stays easy to compare. For longer text, rewrite it in parts: copy the finished part, then paste the next one.

    Is my text stored?

With the free shared AI, your sentences go to our server and then to Google Gemini or OpenRouter. Identical requests are reused for one hour, and nothing is saved to an account. With your own key, the text goes straight from your browser to the AI provider. Your draft and last 10 results are kept only in your browser.

How many times can I use it for free?

The shared AI allows 15 runs an hour per visitor, and New options for one sentence counts as a run. Choosing versions and copying are unlimited. If you need more, add your own free Gemini or OpenRouter key.
