What this tool does, and what it doesn't

So you know exactly what to expect before you rely on it.

      What it does

      • Writes 3 options for your title and description from what you type, in 18 languages.
      • Measures in pixels with the font sizes Google uses, so you see where text gets cut.
      • Spots common mistakes and explains each one in a single line.
      • Gives you ready code: plugin fields, HTML with Open Graph tags, and a share preview.
      • Runs checks in your browser, so editing and previewing are free and unlimited.

      What it doesn't do

      • Promise rankings or clicks. Meta tags aren't a ranking factor on their own; your content and competition matter more.
      • Read your live page. It only knows what you type. To check a published page, use the SEO Analyzer.
      • Show search volume. For which keywords people search, use the Keyword Research Tool.
      • Change your website. Nothing is published; you copy and paste the tags yourself.
      • Know facts you didn't give it. It's told not to invent prices, numbers or awards, but read each option before publishing.

      What each check means

Every check comes with a plain reason. Here is what they look for, with a good and a bad example.

      Title width

Google shows about 580 pixels of a title on desktop, usually 50 to 60 characters. Wide letters like W and M use more space, so the tool measures pixels.

      Description length

Google shows about 920 pixels of a description on desktop, roughly 150 characters. Too short wastes space; too long is cut with "…".

      Focus keyword

Put the phrase people search for near the start of the title and once in the description. Google shows matching words in bold.

      Repeated words

Repeating the keyword looks like spam to readers and to Google, and makes Google more likely to rewrite your title.

      Brand name

Ending with your brand helps people recognise you in results. Skip it when the title would get too long; the topic matters more.

      A reason to click

Descriptions that say what people will get, with words like Learn, Compare, Try or Order, usually get more clicks than vague ones.

How to write meta tags with this tool

      1. Describe the page in a few lines

Write what the page offers and who it's for. Add true details like the city, product names or what makes it different; the AI won't invent facts.

      2. Add your focus keyword and brand

The keyword is the phrase people type into Google. The brand is added to the end of the title when it fits.

      3. Pick one of the three options

Each option takes a different angle. Choose the one that sounds most like your page.

      4. Edit until the checks are green

Change any word. The width bars, preview and checks update as you type.

      5. Copy into your site

Paste the fields into Yoast or Rank Math, or copy the HTML code with Open Graph tags for sharing.

      6. Check it in Google later

After Google re-crawls the page, search for it or use URL Inspection in Search Console. If Google rewrites your title, make it shorter and closer to the page's content.

      Questions

      Frequently asked questions

Why does Google show a different title or description from mine?

Google rewrites titles and descriptions when it thinks other text on your page answers the search better. It happens most when a title is too long, stuffed with keywords, or doesn't match the page. Accurate, specific tags of the right length are shown as written more often, but Google always has the final say.

Should I count characters or pixels?

Pixels are more accurate. Google cuts desktop titles at about 580 pixels, which is usually 50 to 60 characters, but wide letters like W and M fill the space faster than i or l. This tool measures both, using the same font size Google uses.

Do I still need the meta keywords tag?

No. Google has ignored the meta keywords tag for years, and it can show competitors which words you're targeting. This tool gives you related search phrases to use in your writing instead.

Where do I paste these tags in WordPress?

If you use Yoast SEO or Rank Math, open the page editor and paste the title, description and slug into the plugin's snippet fields; use the SEO plugin tab here. Without a plugin, the HTML code tab gives you tags to place inside the page's head section.

What are the Open Graph and Twitter tags for?

They control the preview card when someone shares your link on WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn or X: the title, the short description and the image. Add a share image address under More options to include an image.

      Is my page description stored?

With the free shared AI, your description goes to our server and then to Google Gemini or OpenRouter to write the tags; identical requests are reused for one hour and nothing is saved to an account. With your own key, it goes straight from your browser to the AI provider. Your last 10 results are kept only in your browser.

How many times can I use it for free?

The shared AI allows 15 generations an hour per visitor. Checking, editing and previewing your own title and description is unlimited, because that runs in your browser. If you need more AI generations, add your own free Gemini or OpenRouter key.
