Why Use Image Pixelation?

Keep Sensitive Information Hidden Without Editing the Entire Photo

Pixelation is one of the most effective ways to conceal private details while preserving the rest of an image. Instead of covering everything, you can protect only the information that matters—making screenshots, photos, and documents safe to share without reducing their overall quality.

01

Protect Privacy

Hide personal information such as faces, addresses, ID numbers, license plates, phone numbers, or confidential content before sharing images online.

02

Maintain Image Context

Only the selected region is pixelated, allowing the rest of your photo, screenshot, or document to remain completely visible and easy to understand.

03

Built for Everyday Tasks

Whether you're sharing documents, selling a vehicle, publishing content, reporting news, or posting on social media, pixelation helps protect sensitive information in just a few clicks.

How to Pixelate Your Photos

Follow this simple guide to quickly censor or blur parts of your images.

1

Upload Your Image(s)

Begin by dragging and dropping your images onto the upload area, or click to select files from your device. Each image will get its own editor.

2

Define the Pixelation Area

You have two ways to define the rectangle you want to pixelate:

  • Draw with Mouse: Click and drag your mouse over the image to draw a selection box. The coordinate fields will update automatically.
  • Use Precise Controls: In the "Define Pixelation Rectangle" section, type exact values into the X, Y, Width, and Height fields. The blue selection box on the image will update as you type. The maximum values for each field are shown for your convenience.

Adjust Pixel Size & Apply

Use the Pixel Size slider to control how "blocky" the effect is. Once you're ready:

  • Click Apply Pixelation to apply the effect to the selected rectangle.
  • Click Pixelate Full Image to apply the effect to the entire picture, ignoring any selection.
  • Click Reset to remove the pixelation and clear your selection.
4

Download Your Final Image

Once you are happy with the result, you have two ways to download:

Individual Download
Click the Download Image button for a specific image. You can also select the output format (JPEG, PNG, WEBP) and quality.
