- Guarantee FAQ rich results. Since August 2023, Google shows the FAQ drop-down in search mainly for well-known government and health websites. Schema helps search engines understand the page, but most sites won't see the drop-down.
- Write your answers. There is no AI here. Only you know your prices, policies and timings.
- Allow raw HTML in answers. Bold, links and lists are supported through simple shortcuts, which keeps the code safe.
- Add a search box. That would need JavaScript. Use groups to keep long FAQs easy to scan.
- Upload anything. Your questions stay in this browser.
Why the code works with WordPress, WP Rocket and other plugins

The accordion uses the HTML details element, which every modern browser opens and closes by itself. There's nothing for "Delay JavaScript", Rocket Loader or script minifying to break.

How to write a good FAQ page
Collect real questions
Look at emails, WhatsApp chats, calls and reviews. The questions people actually ask beat the ones you imagine.
Write them the way customers ask
"Do you deliver on Sunday?" is better than "Delivery schedule policy".
Answer first, then explain
Start with yes, no or the number, then add the details in a sentence or two.
Group them
With more than 10 questions, use groups such as Orders, Payments and Returns so people can scan.
Link to the full details
For long topics, answer briefly and link to the full page, like your refund policy.
Keep it up to date
When a price, timing or policy changes, update the FAQ the same day.

Does FAQ schema still give rich results in Google?
Rarely. Since August 2023, Google shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known, authoritative government and health websites. FAQPage schema is still valid and helps search engines understand the page, but most sites should not expect the drop-down in search results. A clear FAQ still helps visitors and can answer the searches people make.
Will the accordion work without JavaScript or plugins?
Yes. It uses the HTML details element, which browsers open and close by themselves. It needs no jQuery or plugin, works with the keyboard and screen readers, and caching plugins such as WP Rocket can't break it.
How do I add the FAQ to a WordPress page or post?
Copy the code in the WordPress-safe format, add a Custom HTML block where you want the FAQ, and paste. In the classic editor, paste into the Text tab. In Elementor, use the HTML widget.
Can I use links, bold text or lists in answers?
Yes, with simple shortcuts: **bold**, [link text](https://example.com) or a link to your own page like [returns](/returns/), and a dash at the start of each line for a list. Raw HTML isn't accepted, so nothing unsafe ends up in your page.
Do I need schema if I use Yoast or Rank Math?
Not twice. Yoast's and Rank Math's FAQ blocks add their own FAQPage schema. If you use one of them on the same page, turn schema off here. If you don't, keep it on.
How many questions should an FAQ have?
As many as people really ask. Most pages work well with 5 to 15. With more, use groups such as Orders, Payments and Returns. This tool allows up to 60.
