The video
No video loaded yet
Public videos only. Private and unlisted videos can't be read.
Or paste the transcript (faster, works with any AI)
On YouTube, open the video, press "…more" under the title, then Show transcript. Select all the text in the transcript panel, copy it and paste it here. Timestamps are removed for you.
0 words
Privacy: the video link (or your transcript) goes to our server and on to Google Gemini, or OpenRouter for transcripts, to write the article. Nothing is stored. With your own key it goes straight from this browser to the AI.
Your blog post
Load a public YouTube video, choose the kind of article, and press Write my blog post. Videos up to about 30 minutes work best; for longer videos, paste the transcript.

What this tool does, and what it doesn't
✓What it does
- Watches public videos with Google Gemini, which can read a YouTube link directly, or works from a transcript you paste.
- Rewrites, not copies: the AI is told to explain the video in its own words for readers who haven't seen it.
- Gives you a ready article: SEO title, meta description, slug, sections, key takeaways and FAQ, as HTML or Markdown.
- Credits the video with a link to it and its channel at the end of the article.
- Uses only what is in the video: it is told never to add facts, numbers or quotes of its own.
✕What it doesn't do
- Download videos or transcripts from YouTube. YouTube doesn't offer that to other websites. Gemini watches the public video itself; other AI engines need a pasted transcript.
- Read private, unlisted or age-restricted videos.
- Handle very long videos reliably. Long videos can take too long for the shared AI; paste the transcript instead.
- Give you the rights to someone else's video. Turn your own videos into posts freely; for other creators' videos, write about them, credit and link them, and don't republish their words as yours.
- Check facts. AI can mishear names and numbers. Watch the video and check before you publish.
How to turn a video into a post people read
Start with your own videos
Turning your own YouTube videos into blog posts reaches people who prefer reading, and search engines can index every word.
One video → one post
Add what the video can't
Links, a table, screenshots of key moments, and an updated price or date make the post more useful than the video alone.
Add 2 images and 1 table
Embed the video
Put the video at the top so readers can watch, and link the post from the video description.
Post ↔ video
Check names and numbers
AI can mishear words. Watch the parts with numbers, product names and quotes again.

Frequently asked questions
How does the tool read a YouTube video?
Google Gemini can watch a public YouTube video from its link, including the speech and what is shown on screen. The tool sends the link to Gemini and asks it to write an article from it. It doesn't download the video or its captions.
Why would I paste the transcript?
It is faster, works for long videos, and lets OpenRouter write the article if Gemini is busy, because OpenRouter's free models can't watch videos. On YouTube, press "…more" under the video, then Show transcript, and copy the text.
Which videos work?
Public videos. Private, unlisted, members-only and age-restricted videos can't be read. Videos up to about 30 minutes work best with the shared AI; for longer ones, paste the transcript.
Can I turn someone else's video into a blog post?
Your own videos, yes, freely. For other creators' videos, the words and ideas are theirs: write about the video in your own words, add your own view, keep the credit link, and don't present their content as your own. When in doubt, ask the creator.
Is the article original?
The AI is told to rewrite in its own words and not copy long passages. It is still based entirely on the video, so add your own experience, images and links to make it more valuable, and check it with a plagiarism checker if you need to.
Can it write in Hindi or Gujarati?
Yes. Choose from 16 languages. The video can be in one language and the article in another; check names and terms carefully after translation.
How do I add the post to WordPress?
Press Copy HTML and paste it into the Code editor of a post (Options menu, then Code editor) or into a Custom HTML block. The video embed and headings come with it. Copy the SEO title and meta description into your SEO plugin.
Is it free? Is anything stored?
Yes, free with no sign-up: the shared AI allows 6 posts an hour per visitor, and you can add your own free Gemini or OpenRouter key for more. Your settings and transcript are saved only in this browser; the server doesn't store the video, transcript or article.
