Enter a name, age and height to build your own comparison.

Illustrative age-based visuals. Figure heights follow the measurements you enter; body shapes are generic outlines, not measurements of any real body.

    A CLEARER PICTURE

    What this tool does.
    And where it stops.

Turn measurements you already have into a comparison you can see. Here’s what you can create with your numbers.

    WHAT YOU CAN DO

    Compare on one scale

See up to 40 people or snapshots, aligned at the same baseline.

    Read the exact gap

Select two entries for their height difference and percentage difference.

    Revisit growth

Reuse a name at different ages to see changes between recorded measurements.

    Switch your units

Use centimetres or feet and inches, with optional weight in kg or lb.

    Make it personal

Choose figure colours, an age-based silhouette and an optional head photo.

    Take the chart with you

Download a PNG or JPG. Entered measurements are saved in this browser; photos stay in the tab.

    WHAT IT DOESN’T DO

Clear limits make the comparison more useful.

    No height prediction

It doesn’t forecast adult height, estimate missing years or fill gaps in your growth records.

    No health assessment

It doesn’t calculate growth percentiles, diagnose conditions or decide whether a height is healthy.

    No photo measurement

It doesn’t measure height from an image, scan your body or use weight to recreate body shape.

Your measurements set the result. For a useful comparison, enter heights measured using the same method.

    How the figures are drawn

Three inputs shape each figure. Knowing which does what makes the comparison easier to read.

    Height sets the size

Figure height is entered height divided by the current top of the scale. Nothing is nudged for looks, so a 180 cm figure is exactly 20 percent taller on screen than a 150 cm one.

    Age sets the proportions

Head-to-body ratio, limb thickness and leg length shift continuously with age — roughly one head in four at age two, one in seven by adulthood. A 13-year-old and a 17-year-old are drawn differently.

    Person type sets the build

Shoulder, waist and hip widths and the hair outline differ across boy, girl, man and woman. The shapes stay plain silhouettes; nothing beyond build is implied.

    How to use it

    1. Pick the person type

Boy, girl, man or woman decides the silhouette. The age you enter fine-tunes it.

    2. Enter the measurements

Name, age and height are required. Weight, colour and photo are optional.

    3. Add more entries

Another person, or the same name at a different age. Both belong in the same comparison.

    4. Read it, then export

Check the gap between any two entries, then save as PNG or JPG.

    Track growth across ages

Most height comparisons assume every entry is a different person. This one doesn't. Enter one name several times with different ages, and those entries are grouped into a chronological set of snapshots with the height change between each one.

The tool only repeats what you typed. It does not estimate a missing year, project an adult height, or compare anyone against a growth chart or percentile. If you want a gap filled, measure it and enter it.

    Height comparison FAQs

How does this height comparison tool work?

Enter each person’s name, age and height. The height comparison chart draws the entries on one shared scale, and you can select two entries to calculate their height difference.

Is this height comparison tool free?

Yes. You can compare heights, add recorded growth snapshots and export a PNG or JPG chart without creating an account.

Can I compare more than two people?

Yes. Add up to 40 people or growth snapshots; they all share one scale.

Can I use the same name more than once?

Yes, and it is deliberate. Repeated names at different ages are grouped into growth snapshots.

Do the four person types look different?

Yes. Shoulder, waist and hip widths, limb thickness and the hair outline all differ, and age adjusts the proportions inside each type.

Do I have to upload a photo?

No. Without one, the tool draws the illustrated head that matches the age and person type.

    Where do my photos go?

Nowhere. They are read by your browser with FileReader and drawn locally. No request is made to any server, and photos are never written to local storage.

Can I mix children and adults in one comparison?

Yes. The scale adapts to the tallest entry so both stay readable.

    Is weight required?

No. If entered, it is shown as entered and converted between kg and lb. The tool draws no health conclusion from it.

Does this predict how tall someone will be?

No. It displays measurements you entered and the differences between them.

Can I work in feet and inches?

Yes. Switch the height unit at any time; every label shows both units and entry switches to separate feet and inches fields.

    Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, yes. The tool makes no network calls and loads no external libraries.
