Why browsers block most of the tabs
Opening many links at once runs into the pop-up blocker. Knowing how it works saves a lot of clicking.
One new tab per click
Most browsers let a page open one new tab for each click. Every extra tab counts as a pop-up and is blocked unless you allow pop-ups for that site.
Allowing pop-ups is per site
The permission covers one site, not the web. You can remove it again in your browser's site settings.
A pause does not get around it
Tabs opened after a pause are no longer tied to your click, so they are blocked unless pop-ups are allowed. The pause only spreads the load.
A window size is a request
The width and height set the page area of a new window. The browser fits the window to your screen, and phones open a normal tab instead.
What happens to each line
Every line is read as a web address and either cleaned or skipped. These examples show the rules.

Your list stays in this page: it is not uploaded, and it is gone when you leave or reload. Only your option choices are remembered in this browser. When a link opens, your browser connects to that website directly, as if you had typed the address. The tool removes the referrer, so the site does not see that you came from here. Like any website, our server keeps normal access logs of page visits, as described in our privacy policy.

Why your results might look unexpected

Only one tab opened
The browser blocked the rest as pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for this site and press Open again.
Some lines were skipped
Open the skipped list under the links to see the reason for each line.
Window smaller than chosen
Browsers shrink a window to fit your screen. A 1920-wide window cannot open on a 1366-wide screen.
Sizes ignored on a phone
Mobile browsers open every link as a tab. Use a computer for sized windows.
Site does not load
Bare domains get https://. For an old site that only works over http, choose "Add http://".
Computer slowed down
Every tab uses memory. Open 5 or 10 at a time and close tabs you have checked.
Questions about opening many links
Why does only one tab open?
Most browsers let a page open one new tab per click and block the rest as pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for this site once. In Chrome and Edge, click the blocked pop-up icon at the right of the address bar and choose "Always allow pop-ups and redirects" for this site. In Firefox, use the Options button in the bar that says pop-ups were blocked. In Safari, open the settings for this website from the Safari menu and set Pop-up Windows to Allow. Then press Open again: links that were blocked are still waiting in the list.
Is it safe to allow pop-ups for this site?
The permission applies to this site only, not to other websites, and you can remove it at any time in your browser's site settings. This tool opens new tabs only when you press an open button or click a link in the list.
How many links can I open at once?
Browsers have no fixed limit, but every tab uses memory, and dozens of heavy pages can slow your computer down. The tool accepts up to 500 links and opens 5, 10, 20 or all of them per click. Batches of 10 are a good start; press Open again for the next batch.
Is my list uploaded or saved?
No. The list is processed in this page and is gone when you leave or reload it. Only your option choices, such as the batch size, are remembered in this browser. When a link opens, your browser connects to that website as if you had typed the address; the tool removes the referrer, so the site does not see that you came from here.
Can I open links in a specific window size?
On a computer, yes: choose a size for all links or for one link, and each opens in its own window with that viewport. The browser shrinks a window that does not fit your screen, and phones ignore sizes and open normal tabs. For exact responsive testing, your browser's device mode in the developer tools is more precise.
Can I paste a whole email or document?
Yes. Set "Read links from" to "Any text" and the tool finds every address that starts with http://, https:// or www., and drops punctuation after it, such as a full stop at the end of a sentence. Plain domains without www. are not picked up in that mode, so file names such as report.pdf are not mistaken for links.
Does it check whether the links work?
No. It only checks that each line is a valid web address. A link that is broken, expired or behind a login opens and shows that site's error page. To check status codes before opening, use an HTTP headers or broken link checker.
